A Review of AWESOME!!

Hey Girls!!

We had an awesome time on the 9th! We spent some time just talking about all we have talked about in the last fantastic year of GNO!!

We then started making a list of the things we will stand for:
1) We will not gossip - we will not talk behind other peoples' backs
2) We will embrace the differences between us - we are glad we are all unique
3) We will encourage each other for the way God made us
4) We will include all who join us, and work to exclude no one.
5) We will put good things into our bodies, our minds, our souls.
6) We will spend time investing in things that will make us more like God made us
to be


We then went crazy, and fired up the nerf guns for the annual GNO Nerf Gun War!!!!

It is amazing how fun controlled nerfy violence can be! Thank goodness for goggles!

As always, we had great food, and great times - enjoying fantastic girls!

Next GNO!!! September 9 - 7:30-10:00PM

So, here is the announcement!!!

The next GNO is September 9th!!!

The time will be 30min later for start because of a soccer game for several of the girls - starting 7:30, until 10:00!

We want to see you here!!!

YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

What do you get when you mix ice cream and a giant slip & slide?

Well, i guess that pretty well summarizes last night's craziness here!!!

There was ice cream and toppings in more places than anyone had seen before! It was a fantastic fun time - crazy and fun!

What's funny too is that the time of sharing we had was all about where our treasure is: Nutrition and Health!!! How funny is that? Talk about nutrition ans health and then thorw ice cream at each other!!!!


It was good to be together - 6th-8th grade girls all dedicated to the ideas of GNO - not gossiping and trying to form positive relationships where we all work together to be the best we can be. We learned about how putting good healthy food into us and being active and getting plenty of exercise is a way that we treasure who we are and who God is making us - obviously based on the activities of the night, it is not that we can never have chocolate or ice cream or play video games, but that we need balance in our lives.


We will be posting the next date for GNO soon!! So stay tuned!
